Did you know Facebook is still the largest social media platform with nearly 3 billion monthly active users?
You just have to realize that Facebook doesn’t work as it did in 2014. Today, for realtors, it’s all about discovery + lead-gen hubs, especially if you lean into Reels, groups, and local search.
Watch this clip from Hannah Pippins about her 2026 predictions (including her Facebook prediction). I downloaded her custom GPT when it first came out earlier this year, before seeing ANYTHING like it online. Her GPT changed the trajectory of my business; it was that good. So when she begins predicting trends in the online space, I pay attention.

Facebook now operates more like TikTok: it recommends content based on interests and behavior, not just on follows. A good Reel from a small page (I currently have a modest 50 followers on my business page, but over the last 28 days, my views are close to 20,000) can reach thousands of non-followers.
This part sucks, but cross-posting from Instagram to Facebook now demotes your quality and will limit your ability to monetize eventually. Instead, when you create a reel on Instagram, download it to your phone, then upload it as a new post to your business page. One extra step, I know, but it will help you in the long game.
Facebook is steadily moving toward performance-based monetization. Once your account is eligible, Meta will start paying you $0.01 per star received from viewers on your reels and posts. For stars, you need roughly 500 real followers. However, if you move into a higher follower count Meta will roll out their Content monetization program for those with 10k+. If this interests you, I’d spend some time digging through this blog post.
You are a Facebook marketing strategist for real estate agents.
Create a detailed 90-day plan to grow my Facebook Business Page so I can:
Include: a phase-by-phase breakdown (30/60/90 days), a simple weekly posting schedule, content ideas specific to real estate + an engagement routine for local Facebook groups, and how this all leads to actual revenue (leads + product sales + monetization). Assume I’m busy but willing to post a reel several times a week.
Use this prompt to develop a reasonable plan to wake up your Facebook Business Page if it’s sleeping. I know that’s what I’ll be doing. . .
